These icons show what the digital guide helps you find. You still book flights, stays, and transport directly with the provider.

1. Are you a travel agency?

No. Holiday Hacks is not a travel agency. We sell digital travel guides and research. You make your own bookings directly with airlines, hotels, transfer providers, and other third-party suppliers.

2. Why do I have to book the flights and hotels myself?

Because we do not sell flights, hotels, package holidays, or booking services. By booking directly, you cut out the middleman and their 20-50% service fees. Our "Zero-Commission" model means you pay the provider directly.

3. What if the price changes before I book?

Travel prices are dynamic and change based on demand. Our guides show when prices were last checked and we recommend booking promptly. If you cannot secure the featured flight or hotel at the advertised or a comparable price, contact us through Support within 30 days of purchase with screenshots so we can review a refund.

4. How do you calculate the saving shown on a guide?

When a guide shows a saving, it is based on a dated package-site comparison for that specific route, date window, trip length, and traveller setup. We compare our direct-book guide price against the lowest like-for-like package-site benchmark we found, then round the displayed percentage down. We keep the screenshots and calculation notes internally, and show the checked date because travel prices change.

5. What does Real Hack mean?

It means we checked selected major package sites for the same or very similar route, dates, and trip length, and did not find a like-for-like package in those checks. Availability changes, so we show it as a dated research note rather than a permanent claim.

6. Is it safe to book through the links you provide?

Absolutely. We only provide links to reputable, major platforms like Ryanair, EasyJet, Booking.com, or official hotel websites. Your payment details never pass through us; they stay between you and the service provider.

7. Do I get ATOL protection?

ATOL protection applies to "Package Holidays" sold by traditional agents (where you pay one person for everything). Because you are booking components separately, you are protected by the individual airline's and hotel's terms. We strongly recommend having a good travel insurance policy to cover all bases — it's the "Smart Traveler" way.

8. What if my flight is cancelled or I need to change my hotel?

Since you hold the direct booking, you have full control. You deal directly with the airline or hotel customer service. This is actually faster and more reliable than waiting for a travel agent to act as a middleman during an emergency.

9. Can you customize a trip for me?

Not as a standard service. Holiday Hacks currently sells curated digital travel guides for featured destinations and dates. If you need help with a guide you have bought, contact Support from your account.

10. Do I need a subscription?

No. For launch, the main offer is a free account plus one-off guide purchases. You only pay when you choose a guide. Existing subscribers can still manage their current subscription from Billing.

11. Do purchased guides expire?

No. Once you buy a guide, it stays in your account. Travel prices can change, so always check the live airline, hotel, and activity prices before booking.
